Jungian psychoanalysis, also known as analytical psychology, is a specialized form of depth psychotherapy based on the theories of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. This approach views the psyche as a self-regulating system with its own wisdom and healing potential.
Unlike traditional psychotherapy that focuses solely on symptom relief, Jungian analysis aims to foster a vital relationship between your conscious and unconscious mind, promoting ongoing psychic development and personal transformation.
I follow an eclectic approach, interweaving the ideas of other psychoanalysts (especially Bion) and philosophies (Vedanta).

Jungian psychoanalysis can be beneficial for individuals experiencing:
- Depression or anxiety
- Phobias or compulsive behaviours
- Personality disorders
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Substance use and addiction
- Interpersonal or relationship issues
- Questions of meaning and purpose in life
Even if you’re not dealing with a specific mental health condition, Jungian analysis can help anyone seeking personal growth, self-understanding, and a more authentic way of living.

The primary aim of Jungian psychoanalysis is individuation—a lifelong process of psychological development that leads to the realization of one’s unique potential. This involves integrating various aspects of your personality, both conscious and unconscious, to achieve greater balance and wholeness.

Dream Analysis
Dreams are viewed as messages from the unconscious. By exploring your dreams, we can gain insights into your inner world and uncover hidden aspects of your psyche.
Exploration of Archetypes
We’ll examine universal patterns of human experience, known as archetypes, to help you understand your behaviours, emotions, and life patterns.
Active Imagination
This technique involves engaging with your unconscious mind through creative activities such as art, writing, or visualization.
Psychological Types
Understanding your unique psychological type can help you recognize your strengths and areas for growth. I am certified to use the MBTI (which is derived from Jungian typology).
Symbol Work
We’ll explore the personal and collective symbols that appear in your dreams, fantasies, and daily life to uncover deeper, more profound meanings.
Embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth with Jungian psychoanalysis. Together, we’ll work to align your conscious and unconscious mind, helping you become the authentic, whole person you were meant to be.

Psychoanalysis is often a long-term commitment, and the therapeutic relationship is the most crucial ingredient for success. Patients usually have a weekly appointment.
I will complete my training in 2026 and offer discounted rates to suitable patients.
